Truly clever and intelligent. You really ought to see this.

Acerbic, funny [...] brilliant stuff. The Moors is first-rate entertainment.

THE MOORS
by Jen Silverman
directed by Sally Wood and
Keith Powell Beyland
Two spinster sisters, one dressed in black the other living in her shadow, their possibly schizophrenic maid, and a philosophical mastiff spend their days and nights dreaming of love and power in a crumbling estate on the isolated, fog-thickened English heath (though, oddly, all speak with American accents, including the dog).
Life gets interesting when the arrival of a new governess (strangely no children can be found) and a crash-prone moorhen upset the already precarious balance of the household. Romances bloom, alliances are formed, lies are unmasked, loyalties shift, and the tension mounts until finally - someone reaches the breaking point!
A riff on the works of a trio of 19th-century novel-writing sisters, this dark contemporary comedy examines love, power, and our hunger to be seen.

Gripping...presents a convincing portrait

Critic’s Pick. A scorching sharp-eyed, timely script...lets no one off easy…clap all you want at the end of the play-and you'll want to clap a lot—but the game stays with you

An unexpected pregnancy ends an ace fighter pilot's career in the sky. Reassigned to operate military drones from a windowless trailer outside Las Vegas, she hunts terrorists by day and returns to her family each night. As the pressure to track a high-profile target mounts, the boundaries begin to blur between the desert in which she lives and the one she patrols half a world away.
